Oh well... i just have no idea what to post now so... i'll go with a survey. It's kinda fun answering questions and all. Considering this is the last day of the month. July is coming up. Well... tomorrow is 1st of July and... Guess what... Ugly Betty season 2 is on star world. Can't wait to watch it. Starts from episode 24 then. The last season is... well... i watch it and it was like so much drama. One bad consequences happening to each and everyone of the characters from that show. And that's episode 23. The last episode from season 1. So i'm watching it where it's left off. So much drama. I must say i like it and the kissing here now and then seem pretty disgusting but i just watch it. Oh yeah... yesterday was Ugly Betty Marathon. Season 1 episodes 1 to 23. Season two kicks out tomorrow at 9.00pm. Can't really wait. Oh yeah... talking too much here. Here's a survey i've done...
Well... i think it's official. Twilight comes out December 12th. But here in Singapore... It's coming out on *drum roll please* *LOL* Christmas Day. Yup Christmas Day boys and girls. December 25th in Singapore. No idea if it's confirmed but it's pretty acurate. It's even up on Yahoo! Movies section. Just go to the website and at the sidebar on your left there's a whole lot of stuff and click on Movies. That's where it is anyways. Well... i wanna share with you this cool Twilight Widget. Here it goes...
WOW... Sorry for not blogging these days... again... Guess what... On MTV the full clip for twilight is gonna be on tv... YAHO! Well... no idea if MTV Asia broadcast it on the same day as the US. It's on MTV Movie Awards 2008. Starting on June 1st. I guess it's the pre-show first at 7.30 pm and the live show at at 8.00pm. Man... i can't wait for it. Yeah... and whoever said that this movie is the best movie in history. I agree with that too. Wanna wtch the movie so badly. The still scans for the clips is so thrilling and it's soooo makes me wanna SCREAM it out loud. Today is June 1st but in the US i think is like still saturday over there. Maybe i'll watch it when it premieres on the twilight fanbase. I'm sure someone will upload it on the website. That would be so coooool. I'm really really sure of it.
The upcoming fourth book from Stephenie Meyer that i keep talking about will be in stores August 2nd. The preview for the cover is now online. And i must say... the cover bewilders me.... i have no idea what the concept is about until the book is in stores on that day. Or when it arrives here after that day next week i think. Not to mention that the exclusive first look on the chapter something like a snippet or a book preview (Mind you it's not really the full excert from the story yet) EW.com has it first. WOW... it's soooo lovely just to read the exclusive book preview first hand cause i've been waiting for it like... ever... I'll put the exclusive preview of the book here and the cover too.... It's so exciting. Just two months away from August. YAHOOOOO!
Here's the exclusive book preview.... ENJOY!
1. ENGAGED
NO ONE IS STARING AT YOU, I promised myself. No one is staring at you. No one is staring at you.
But, because I couldn't lie convincingly even to myself, I had to check.
As I sat waiting for one of the three traffic lights in town to turn green, I peeked to the right — in her minivan, Mrs. Weber had turned her whole torso in my direction. Her eyes bored into mine, and I flinched back, wondering why she didn't drop her gaze or look ashamed. It was still considered rude to stare at people, wasn't it? Didn't that apply to me anymore?
Then I remembered that these windows were so darkly tinted that she probably had no idea if it was even me in here, let alone that I'd caught her looking. I tried to take some comfort in the fact that she wasn't really staring at me, just the car.
My car. Sigh.
I glanced to the left and groaned. Two pedestrians were frozen on the sidewalk, missing their chance to cross as they stared. Behind them, Mr. Marshall was gawking through the plate glass window of his little souvenir shop. At least he didn't have his nose pressed up against the glass. Yet.
The light turned green and, in my hurry to escape, I stomped on the gas pedal without thinking — the normal way I would have punched it to get my ancient Chevy truck moving.
Engine snarling like a hunting panther, the car jolted forward so fast that my body slammed into the black leather seat and my stomach flattened against my spine.
''Arg!'' I gasped as I fumbled for the brake. Keeping my head, I merely tapped the pedal. The car lurched to an absolute standstill anyway.
I couldn't bear to look around at the reaction. If there had been any doubt as to who was driving this car before, it was gone now. With the toe of my shoe, I gently nudged the gas pedal down one half millimeter, and the car shot forward again.
I managed to reach my goal, the gas station. If I hadn't been running on vapors, I wouldn't have come into town at all. I was going without a lot of things these days, like Pop-Tarts and shoelaces, to avoid spending time in public.
Moving as if I were in a race, I got the hatch open, the cap off, the card scanned, and the nozzle in the tank within seconds. Of course, there was nothing I could do to make the numbers on the gauge pick up the pace. They ticked by sluggishly, almost as if they were doing it just to annoy me.
It wasn't bright out — a typically drizzly day in Forks, Washington — but I still felt like a spotlight was trained on me, drawing attention to the delicate ring on my left hand. At times like this, sensing the eyes on my back, it felt as if the ring were pulsing like a neon sign: Look at me, look at me.
It was stupid to be so self-conscious, and I knew that. Besides my dad and mom, did it really matter what people were saying about my engagement? About my new car? About my mysterious acceptance into an Ivy League college? About the shiny black credit card that felt red-hot in my back pocket right now?
''Yeah, who cares what they think,'' I muttered under my breath.
And the cover of the upcoming soon to be number four book and the last book from the Twilight series....
Just to let you know that the poster is out too...
